StrikeIron Email Verification Web Service
Indicates whether or not an email address actually exists or not, without actually ever sending an email message. For any email address, the Web service will simply return a true or false as to whether or not the email address is valid or not. This goes far beyond the structure of the email address, actually identifying bad email addresses and non-existent domains. This Web service accepts REST invocations as well as SOAP.
- Instantly verify bad email addresses and invalid domains.
- Reduce spam by blocking email from invalid email addresses.
- Check the validity of an email address before it enters a database.
- Connect in real–time to the email owners’ SMTP servers to validate an address without sending email.
StrikeIron SMS Alerts and Notifications Web Service
The StrikeIron SMS Alerts and Notifications Web Service enables an SMS (text) message to be sent to virtually any mobile phone instantly. In addition, the success of message delivery is tracked and reported using the Web service. Simply provide the phone number, sender information, and the message. The message will immediately be sent to the mobile user or group of users. A tracking tag is automatically generated in order to verify the successful delivery of the message.
- Text messages can be delivered via a Web service to any mobile phone capable of receiving SMS text messages.
- Messages to a single phone number or a bulk group of numbers can be sent.
- Success or failure of message delivery can be tracked in the Web service.
- Can easily be incorporated into Web sites, applications, intranets, XML–enabled devices, or anything else that has the ability to invoke a Web service.
